Anthony Scarpati lit a candle and writes,
My deepest sympathy to family and friends of Dr. H. Sothoron Jr. He was the most wonderful Orthopedic surgeon a patient could ask for, kind, patient, courteous with excellent "bedside" manners. An overall wonderful person. He performed an ACL replacement on my left knee in the late 1980's with the then technology of Gortex. To this day my knee is still doing well. God Bless to all, Tony Scarpati New Windsor, MD

    Patricia Hale writes,
I am very sad to hear of Dr. Sothoron's passing. While searching the internet for a great grandmother, I stumbled upon the wonderful genealogy site that he painstakingly put together called "our genes.net." The site unlocked a treasure trove of information on my ancestors from their arrival in Maryland in the 1640s to the birth of my great grandfather, John Levi Thompson in 1875. The information and photographs on this site are extensive and it is evident that Dr. Sotheron put many years of his life into creating this site. I hope the site will stay up as one of Dr. Sothoron's many accomplishments.
