Vijayan Krishnan Nair

Mr. Vijayan Krishnan Nair was born to the late Mr. Krishnan Nair and Mrs. Kunjulakshmiamma on July 14, 1963 in Puramottam, Kerala. He is the youngest of five siblings, Mrs. Rajamma Rajan, Mr. Sivaraman Nair, Mr. Gopalan Nair, and Mrs. Saraswathy Soman.

Vijayan emigrated to the US in 1981 where he resided in Hillside, New York and studied electronics. In 1991, he married Mrs. Rema D. Sivadas and in 1994 they welcomed their first son, Rajiv. Four years later, they welcomed their second son, Krishnan.

Vijayan enjoyed spending time at the temple and with his family. He was a great lead singer, kanjira and chenda artist, and a big Ayyappa Devotee. He enjoyed going to sporting events with his family and was an avid supporter New York Yankees.

Vijayan is survived by his wife and his two sons. He has lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was residing in New Castle, Delaware upon his passing. He will always be remembered for his commitment to his family, friends, and to his community. He will be greatly missed.
