Stephen Walter Ferris

Stephen Walter Ferris, age 71, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 surrounded by family.

Steve served with honor in the United States Marine Corps (1967-1971) including two tours in Vietnam. Steve is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hartnett; his daughters Stephanie and Sara; four grandchildren; six siblings; nephews; nieces and his loyal canine companion Keegan.

Steve worked in the car business most of his life and even owned his own car lot at one time. He proudly drove his ’64 Thunderbird and smiled everytime he talked about his car. He loved music and spending time with family and friends. He will be truly missed.

Funeral Services

Celebration of life will be Friday, July 9, 2021 from 1pm to 4 pm at Six Paupers Tavern & Restaurant, 7465 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE.
