Ronald Charles Wahl, Sr.

Ronald Charles WahlSr., of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on Monday April 10, 2017 surrounded by his family. Ron was born in Wilmington, DE, the son of the late Horace A. WahlSr. and Theresa N. Wahl of Centerville, DE.

Ron was a devoted father who was self-employed in the HVAC industry in the Delaware area for over 40 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, spending time with family, friends, and his two dogs, Abby and Harley.

Ron is preceded in death by his son, Michael A. Wahl, his brother, James R. Wahl, and his sister, Barbara W. Hall. Ron is survived by his significant other, Linda Cheney of Newark, his son, Ronald C. Wahl, Jr. and his wife, May-Britt of Georgia; his son, R. Sean Wahl and his wife, Lea of New Castle; his daughter, Amy K. Malone and her husband, David of North Carolina; his sisters, Patricia W. Testa and Deborah W. Supinski; his brothers, Horace A. Wahl, Jr. and Charles E. Wahl, and five grandchildren, Kayla, Carter, Ryan, Emersyn and Samantha (Sammy).

Funeral Services

Friends and family may visit from 10 am until 12 noon on Thursday April 13, 2017 at the Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin. Funeral services will begin at noon followed by interment at Lower Brandywine Cemetery, Wilmington.

He would do anything for you no matter what the consequences.. spent a few Thanksgivings with him and family as he loved his children ! And Harley and Abigail were his best friends...
