Robert Lawler

Robert “Bob” Lawler, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

 

Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 29, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Jackson) Lawler. Robert worked as an assemblyman with Chrysler Corporation in Newark, retiring after 38 dedicated years.

 

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son Daniel, his companion Mary Ewing, sister Emma Sarkisian and brothers, Bill (twin), Ed, Sonny, Danny, Pete, Tommy, Jimmy, Dennis, and Jack Lawler.

 

He is survived by his children, Colleen Morrone and her husband Anthony, Keri Palasz and her husband Michael, Shawn Lawler and his wife Lisa, Shannon Wample and her husband Eric; siblings, Al Lawler, Joan Corton and MaryAnn Sabatino; 6 grandchildren, Katherine Morrone, Joseph Morrone, Brynn Morrone, Emily Lawler, Mel Lawler and Tyler Wample.

    Uncle Bobby, there are so many things to thank you for. Your support when my Dad was sick which I was so grateful for. I always enjoyed our conversations and you were always there if i needed help with family things. I love you uncle Bobby, enjoy everyone in heaven have a beer with Mark and my Dad, give them a kiss for me. Til we meet again💕
