My sincere sorrow for the loss of an old friend and Chaminade brother is difficult to express since there is so much that can be said about Bob. He was a "gentle man" and a friend to all who knew him. I grieve is passing for his family but I also know that Bob had a rich and fulfilling life that touched many people. I regret not being at the Chaminade lunch at which he attended. It really makes one realize how short our lives really are and we need to take advantage of our abilities to stay close. I am certain that Bob rests peacefully in heaven with Our Lord, Jesus Christ. I just hope to be at that lunch that I missed with him in Heaven some day.

I was a patient of Dr. Hill from 1991 until he retired. I first saw him as a scared 30 year old with breast cancer. I have had many lumps removed and two more breast cancers during that time. He was always the calm to my nerves each time. He had a wonderful bedside manor and was such a soft spoken man. He often talked about his daughters and how proud he was of them. I remember how upset I was when I found out he was retiring. I was glad he was at his office the afternoon I picked up my records and I was able to thank him for all he did for me over the years. I was heartbroken to read of his passing. Thank you, Dr. Hill, for all you’ve done for me! ❤️

As another of Bob's high school classmates from Chaminade I have to say that the wonderful tribute to him in the obituary comes as no surprise. In high school he was a warm and kind person along with being extremely bright and motivated--always positive. Even then his future as a skilled physician with a winning bedside manner was in the cards. To his further credit, he used his healing skills in service of his country as well. In the few times I was able to meet with Bob over the years---including a lunch with some of the class of '66 a few years ago (which he paid for!)--- he spoke glowingly of his family. Bob was truly a man of faith who loved his family and his country and was a good friend to many. May he rest in peace.

I'm sad to hear of Bob's passing. As neighbors for many years in Haddonfield, I had many occasions to converse with Bob. Whether the conversations surrounded medical issues or just world happenings Bob added insight and humor to them all. I'll remember Bob as a soft spoken man who adored his family. With his wife Kathy and his two daughters, they made for wonderful neighbors. I'll always be grateful for the night my young son experience an asthma attack and as a frantic mom I rushed to his house. Bob followed me back to my home, assessed the situation and returned with his daughter's nebulizer and had the situation under control in short order. I would later find out after getting to know the family that Bob was a very religious and caring person who would help anyone in need. My sincere condolences to Kathy, Bridget and Lauren, I know Bob is in heaven and my he rest in peace.

I was so shocked to learn of Dr. Hill's passing. I was his patient for many years and could never have recieved the type of care that he admin-istered to me from anyone else. When I needed to have a breast bx, I looked in the telephone book and asked GOD to lead me to a physician that I could depend on and trust, and it was Dr. Hill's name that HE chose for me. Dr. Hill was such a warm and wonderful person and physician. When he told me that my bx was positive, he did it with such caring, as he did when he performed my surgery. I was nervous but never really afraid because I knew as a Christian, that GOD had sent me to the right physician. Rest in our FATHER,S arms and maybe we will meet again. Thank you Dr. Hill.

Dr. Hill treated Ann's father / my father in law, John Williams, in 2017. At 95, John passed away in January 2018 of multiple issues including glioblastoma. We all live in Haddonfield and I had the privilege of taking John to his appointments. John was a retired Naval Officer, USNA alum and Purple Heart recipient. He and Dr. Hill had some strong connections and both talked a LOT about their kids and families. I was able to get a word in that I am an Notre Dame alum and that furthered the conversations. May he rest in peace. He was a fabulous doctor. Ann and Doug Hambry

I have never met a man like Dr. Hill. He was a man of God and truly a healer. He accepted his calling in life and made the world a better place. Someone to be admired and emulated. I’m not so sad as grateful to have known him.
