Robert Angeloni

Robert Andrew Angeloni, age 61, passed away on October 18, 2023 at his home in Landenberg, PA after a short illness.  He was surrounded by his family.

Rob was born in February of 1962, in Scranton, PA to the late Vincent and Joan Lacotta Angeloni.  He worked for many years in the construction industry, which took him all over the country before settling in southeastern Pennsylvania in 1990 to raise his family with his wife.

Rob was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.  He had a warm and friendly personality, making friends with virtually everyone he met. His great sense of humor and infectious friendly spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.

In his free time, Rob enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling. He was a long-time member at Hartefeld National Golf Course, where he had several very good friends whose friendships he cherished.

Rob is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Eileen, and their two sons, Robert, and Nicholas.  He is also survived by his siblings, Vincent (Maria) Angeloni, and Elise (Jack) Gilroy.  Additionally, Rob leaves behind his nieces Katrine, Gabriella, and Francesca.

Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Angeloni and his father, Vincent Angeloni; and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Berger.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and other hospital staff who cared for him during his illness, and especially the hospice nurses.

Funeral Services

As per Rob’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

I fondly remember several rounds of golf with Rob and his dry wit. Always quick with a joke, but never malicious. Although I didn’t see him often, he acted like it was just yesterday that we shared a beer and stories. I will miss him.

Condolences and my deepest sympathy to the Angeloni Family. I’ll never forget all the fun and crazy things we did growing up. We lived a block away and your family was always so nice to me. I remember me, Chris Adams and Rob driving up in country partying it up, eating raw corn, skinny dipping at the Lackawanna state park after jumping from one side of the arch under that high bridge in Clarks Summit to the other just to mention one. Sorry I didn’t see you sooner. I didn’t know you lived an hour away from me. We all go our separate ways in life and one day we shall see each other again. Love you man, you’re in good hands now. Rest in peace Rob.

Eileen, I am profoundly sorry for the loss of Rob. You two meant the world to me! The love I felt when with you as a couple was always something I wanted. His sense of humor, easy disposition, and personality made him a rare individual that I, and many, wanted to be around. I won’t forget the fun summer parties, the tv moving, the deep talks about money, family, and the next vacation will always be special to me. Just want you know how much I cherish you and your family, and how much I will miss him. God Bless You! Love, John Straub
