So saddened to read this today. I so enjoyed my visits and phone calls with her. She rightfully raved about her living neighbors across the street who really "kept an eye" on her. She often told me she was ready to join her beloved Gus. And now she has. We ended each of our encounters with a prayer. May her memory be eternal.

    Brett Fairchild writes,
I am so sorry to hear of Patsy's passing. She is a distant cousin of mine. Her father, Levi Fairchild, was a brother of my grandfather, Attie Fairchild of Roanoke, VA. Patsy, her sister and their husbands stopped by my house one day when I lived in Norristown, PA, more than 40 years ago. I did not know who they wee until after they came in and visited for a while. She was a very pleasant person. I know she will be missed. Brett Fairchild Leesburg, VA 20176
