Mildred Janet (nee Miller) Games, age 100 of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully at Compassionate Care Hospice in the St. Francis Hospital on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
Born in Wilmington, DE, Mildred was the daughter of the late Garnett Miller and Jeanette (Davidson) Miller. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1934 and Goldey-Beacom College. Mildred was an executive administrative assistant in the DuPont Company for 21 years, retiring in 1981.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Howard T. Games, Jr., who passed away in 2008. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley G. Leach and her husband Mark of Wakefield, RI and Karen G. DiCriscio and her husband Dino of Wilmington; granddaughter Brooke L. McGlinn and her husband John of Philadelphia; grandson Brandon F. DiCriscio of Chicago; and great-grandson Rory T. McGlinn of Philadelphia.
The family would like to thank extended family, friends, Compassionate Care Hospice, Rockland Place, doctors, nurses and caregivers for helping us through the difficult times of her journey through life.
