杨丽敏,1965年10月6日出生于中国河南省三门峡市陕县的一个农村家庭,她的父亲是杨宝仓,母亲是宋增荣。她在艰难困苦的时代和家庭中度过童年。她学习刻苦、孝敬父母、体恤兄弟、任劳任怨。小学毕业后,随父亲所在的水电工程公司在陕西省安康市完成了中学学业,于1982年高中毕业,并且成功考入了长沙铁道学院(今中南大学)。
从1982至1986年,她在长沙铁道学院(今中南大学)完成了工业与民用建筑专业的本科学业。她在校期间学习刻苦,并且参加学校长跑队,多次参加省级比赛,获得了多项荣誉。在这之后,她没有停下学习的脚步,从1986年至1989年,继续在长沙铁道学院(今中南大学)学习工程管理,获得硕士学位。
1989年下半年进入中国房地产开发总公司常州公司并被派往泰国曼谷从事商务和房地产开发。1997年7月至2001年在香港天安集团工作,负责上海、南京和常州多个项目。2001年4月至2003年6月,在中建企业CSC新加坡有限公司担任业务经理和高级工程师。2002年7月至2004年12月,她在新加坡国立大学学习房地产投资并获硕士,2003年亚洲爆发了非典型肺炎疫情,迫使她回到中国进行学习和研究。2004年1月,她进入新城集团商业开发事业部负责房地产投资,项目遍及全国,她去过中国绝大多数的地级市包括边陲地区,为公司做出了杰出的贡献。2018年至2019年8月,在新城上海资本公司,负责投融资业务。她一生工作了30年,始终都在她所热爱的房地产行业,其中的15年,都贡献给了新城集团。在工作上,她诚恳对待同事、热情耐心对待下属、认真对待工作,虽然辛苦但她乐在其中。
1989年,她在江苏常州结婚,这段婚姻在2005年结束。虽然丽敏在工作上投入了大量的时间和精力,但是她对于自己孩子的关注并没有减少。虽然长期和孩子不在同一个城市甚至不在同一个国家,她总是想办法回到孩子身边陪伴。在2006年、2009至2010年、2012年至2014年,她在孩子升学的关键时刻始终保证自己每天都能在孩子身边照顾,同时她也兼顾了自己的工作。当儿子2019年在美国留学时,她也通过访问学者的身份来到美国,陪孩子一起读书。新冠疫情期间,为经常和孩子见面,她冒风险多次乘坐公共交通往返于纽约、DC以及特拉华。
2019年8月她正式退休,9月作为哥伦比亚大学的访问学者赴美国纽约学习和工作,在美国期间游历了美国东西海岸数十个城市。她为人热心,积极帮助同学朋友,经常参与各种活动。除了访学以外,她还同时学习在美国的房地产投资,平均每天都要花4到5个小时学习,并且结识了许多专业人士。2020年,由于新冠疫情,她决定延长访学时间至2021年8月。
2021年5月31日晚上,她在拜访特拉华朋友的家中突发脑出血,经抢救无效,在6月1日下午1:31分不幸去世,享年55岁。根据她生前地决定,去世后,她捐赠了她地器官,她的骨灰由儿子带回中国,安葬在上海。
English Vision:
Limin Yang was born on October 6, 1965 in a rural family in Shanxian County, Sanmenxia, Henan Province, China. Her father is Yang Baocang and her mother is Song Zengrong. She spent her childhood in difficult times and family. She studied hard, respected her parents, sympathized with her brothers, and never complain. After graduating from elementary school, she completed middle school and high school studies in Ankang, Shaanxi Province with her father’s hydropower engineering company. Limin graduated from high school in 1982 and was successfully admitted to Changsha Railway Institute (now Central South University).
From 1982 to 1986, she completed a bachelor’s degree in industry and civil construction at Changsha Railway Institute (now Central South University). She studied hard at school, joined the school’s long-distance running team, participated in many provincial competitions, and won many honors. After finishing undergraduate studies, she did not stop studying. From 1986 to 1989, she continued to study engineering management at Changsha Railway Institute (now Central South University) and obtained a master’s degree.
In the second half of 1989, she started to work in the Changzhou Company of China National Real Estate Development Group Corporation Limited and was sent to Bangkok, Thailand to engage in business and real estate development. From July 1997 to 2001, she worked in Hong Kong Tian An Group and was responsible for multiple projects in Shanghai, Nanjing and Changzhou. From April 2001 to June 2003, she worked as a business manager and senior engineer in Central Development Limited CSC Singapore Pte Ltd. From July 2002 to December 2004, she studied real estate investment at the National University of Singapore and received her second master’s degree. In 2003, the SARS pandemic outbreak in Asia caused her to return to China for studies and researches. In January 2004, she joined the Commercial Development Division of Seazen Group to be responsible for real estate investment. The projects spread all over China. She has been to overwhelming majority prefecture-level cities in China, including border areas, and made outstanding contributions to the company. From 2018 to August 2019, she was in charge of investment and financing business at Seazen Shanghai Capital Company. She had been worked for 30 years in her life, and had always been in the real estate industry that she loves. For 15 years, she had contributed to the Seazen Group. At work, she treated her colleagues sincerely, treated her subordinates with enthusiasm and patience, and took her work seriously. Although works were hard, she enjoyed them.
In 1989, she married in Changzhou, Jiangsu. This marriage ended in 2005. Although Limin had invested a lot of time and energy in her work, her attention to her child had not diminished. Although she was not in the same city or even the same country as her son for a long time, she always tried to return to her son to accompany him. In 2006, 2009 to 2010, and 2012 to 2014, she always ensured that she was able to take care of her son every day at the critical moment of his advancement, and she took care of her work at the same time. When her son was studying in the United States in 2019, she also came to the United States as a visiting scholar to study with him. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she took the risk to travel between New York and DC many times in order to meet her son frequently.
She officially retired in August 2019. In September, she went to New York to study and work as a visiting scholar at Columbia University Weatherhead East Asian Institute, WEAI. During her stay in the United States, she visited dozens of cities on the east and west coasts. She is enthusiastic, actively helps colleagues and friends, and often participates in various activities. In addition to school studies and researches, she also studied making real estate investment in the United States classes, spending an average of 4 to 5 hours a day, and met many professionals. In 2020, due to the new crown epidemic, she decided to extend her visit to August 2021.
On the evening of May 31, 2021, she suffered a brain hemorrhage while visiting a friend’s home in Delaware. After rescue, she passed away unfortunately at 1:31 pm on June 1, at the age of 55. According to her decision made during her lifetime, after her death, she donated her organs and her ashes were taken back to China by her son and buried in Shanghai.
