Aunt Leann will always be remembered for the parties she gave. They were fun and a great way for our family to catch up with each other. She was beautiful, well traveled and energetic. I played tennis with Aunt Leann as a teenager and could hardly keep up with her. She encouraged us to get a good education and strive for success. She always had advice for us. In place of my late mother, she became Nana to my daughter. We will miss you. Rest in peace.

    Rosemary Catanach writes,
To the family of Leann Zolper, I am so sorry for your loss but you now have an ambassador in heaven. In God's mercy, may she rest in peace. My name is Rosemary Catanach nee Wilk. I went to school with Leann and I have a lovely story to tell. Leann's Father John, came forward when my Father, Bolick Wilk wanted to buy a house on the Level Road. Mr Olsick offered to lend my Father the money to buy the house ($1000), with no interest. It was such a kind and generous offer. I know my Father repaid the debt but for that kindness I would not have grown on a house that was my home for over 18 years. How ironic that our local paper, the News Journal, published the obituary. I was prompted to read it when the words Lilly jumped out. I hope this story warms your heart as it does mine. A happy and blessed New Year to your family.
