Kimberly Ellen Storr Armstrong

Kimberly Ellen Storr Armstrong, 64, of Talleyville, Delaware died on October 10, 2023 while at Regency Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, Delaware.  She was a long-time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Kim attended Brandywine High School, graduated from Concord High School ’76 and graduated from the University of Delaware.  She was a seasonal National Park Ranger and naturalist who served in the park service at Cape Cod National Seashore, Acadia National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park as well as the Brandywine Creek State Park.  She belonged to Delaware Nature Education Society and taught Earth Science at St. Elizabeth Middle School.  After her three children were born, Kim decided to become a stay-at-home mother.

Kim is survived by Mark, her husband of 36 years; children Cameron (Jasmine) of Newark, Delaware, Katharine (Cole) of Grovetown, Georgia and Ian of Talleyville, Delaware; and two grandchildren Odette and Rohan.

A Memorial Service will be held at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, Delaware at 12:00 pm on Wednesday October 18, 2023 where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Brain Injury Association of Delaware (BIADE), 872-C Walker Road, Dover, DE 19904.

Funeral Services

A Memorial Service will be held at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, Delaware at 12:00 pm on Wednesday October 18, 2023 where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 am.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Brain Injury Association of Delaware (BIADE), 872-C Walker Road, Dover, DE 19904.
