Karen J. Bennett

Karen Jane Bennett (McLaughlin), age 73, of Newark, Delaware, passed away on Thursday September 7, 2023.

Karen was born in Ridley Park, PA., daughter of the late David U. McLaughlin, Jr. and Alexandria Navert McLaughlin.

Karen will be deeply missed by her loving family; her daughter, Cherie Pearlman, her son, William “Billy” Bennett, her grandson, Steven Pearlman, adoptive daughter, Michelle Alston, a sister Nora Bennett-Smith, 4 grandchildren,  and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, William Bennett who passed in 2009, her son, Michael Bennett, who passed in 1997 and her two brothers, David McLaughlin and Jackie McLaughlin.

Services will be private .
