Julia Broadway

Julia Broadway, age 95, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late William and Ella McDonald. Julia moved to Delaware when her husband Robert was relocated to Wilmington.

Julia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for over 45 years. She also volunteered at the Junior Board of St. Francis Hospital.

Julia is predeceased by her husband Robert and their daughter Maribeth. She is survived by her sons; Paul(Carol) and Donald(Anne) and by her daughter Barbara with whom she lived, her beloved grandchildren; Amy(Jay), Jodi(Bill), Natalie(Josh) Ted(Stephanie) and James, and her 7 wonderful great-grandchildren; Tyler, Conner, Jessica, Kate, Chloe, Wyatt and Gemma.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Julia’s memory.

 

Funeral Services

A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. Interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery.
