John Michael Sereduke

John M. Sereduke, age 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 11, 2018. John was a self-employed artist and designer for over 40 years in his hometown of Wilmington, DE. Creativity poured out of him all his life. He influenced people through his art and, moreover, with his gentle, kind and generous spirit.

John is survived by his daughter, Mariellen Sereduke, and his son, Christian Sereduke (Linda Jaffe Sereduke), his sisters Mary Schrodetz and Lillian Walker, and nephews (Doug, Jasen and Jack). He was preceded in death by his parents, Wassily and Paranka Sereduk, his brother Andrew (Henry) Sereduk and his beloved wife Louise Ann Sheppard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in John’s name be sent to Elbert-Palmer Elementary School, 1210 Lobdell Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.

Funeral Services

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707, followed by a prayer service at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will be held at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy 19808.
