Jayant Karnik

Jayant H. Karnik, age 76, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2021 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.

Jayant was born in India, son of the late Harishchandra Karnik and Vimal Ratan. He attended the University of Gujrat, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India where he received his B.A. in electrical engineering and his B.A. in mechanical engineering.

Jayant had an extensive work history in the field of engineering. He worked as a mechanical, electrical, design and construction engineer. He had an extreme passion for engineering with a strong and sustained work ethic.

He had extensive involvement in various religious and social organizations for the betterment of humanity. Jayant was a man of faith and tried to live a life in accordance with the will of God.

Jayant is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rajni Karnik, of Wilmington, DE, and his sons; Sachin Karnik and Parag Karnik, both of Wilmington, DE.
