Jacquelyn “Jackie” Smith Poole
April 20, 1957 – October 10, 2017

Jackie passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 10, 2017. She was 60 years old. Born and raised in North Wilmington, she was a 1975 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. For the last 26 years she resided in Newark, DE, where she raised her 2 daughters. She was employed for over 30 years with Christiana Care.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Byatt Smith and Margaret Anne Schutt Smith. Jackie is survived by her daughters, Courtney Poole (and fiancé, Richard Fedin) and Victoria Poole as well as her sister, Cindy Smith Cohen (and husband, Steve).
