I am so very sorry to hear about your dad! He was truly a great friend to me! Its been some time but I have some very fine memories of Mr. Martell! He would always say call me Ham first off! So Ham here it goes! I especially remember all the trips to Avalon and all the times we drove to get crabs- once we went to a crabfest at St. Helenes! Had a blast- you were the life of that party! I remember us going to Uncle Nicks to help around his yard. All the neighborhood houses we visited in Delaware. You did help a lot of people and they all loved you so much! I’m gonna miss that beautiful smile, warm heart and passion for life! You loved all your family so very much and it showed! I’m sorry I can’t come to your service but I know it will be a beautiful celebration of your wonderful life! Love you!

My sincere condolences to those who are grieving. I did not know this man; however, reading about him I can tell he was remarkable as well as 1 of the Greats. May his life be an inspiration to all who knew him. He blessed many with his presence, I'm sure. Again, my condolences to his family and friends. May the love he shared with you lift you up in this time of sorrow. 🙏
