Grace W. Beiser

Grace Walker Beiser, age 92, of Seaford, Delaware passed away at her home on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

She was born at home in Blades, Delaware, to the late Hartzel and Nellie Walker. After attending Seaford schools, she went on to the University of Delaware and graduated with an elementary education degree. She taught kindergarten in Seaford and Blades for 20 years.

Grace married William (Bill) Beiser in 1951 and they celebrated their 70th anniversary last year. They traveled extensively around the world during their time together.  Grace also enjoyed the outdoors and nature, and was active in local birding clubs.

She is survived by her husband William Beiser and her four children and their spouses; Chris (Musab), Cindy, Mike (Teresa) and Anne (Brent) and grandchildren Laura, Tyler, and Genoa.

There will be no formal memorial service. She donated her body to the University of Delaware, Physical Therapy Department, Anatomical Gift Program.

Memorial contributions may be made to Nanticoke Senior Center, 1001 West Locust St., P.O. Box 406, Seaford, DE 19973 or Western Sussex Boys and Girls Club, 310 Virginia Ave., Seaford DE, 19973.

Funeral Services

There will be no formal memorial service. She donated her body to the University of Delaware, Physical Therapy Department, Anatomical Gift Program.

We were students at West Chester State College, and together we spent the summers of 1975 and 1976 working in Ocean City, MD. I would love to get together!
