    William C Smalls Jr writes,
To the family, I am deeply saddened by Frank's passing, but I am extremely happy to have known him the better part of my life. Frank sold Proctor and Gamble shortenings and other products to my dad at Guttenplan's Bakery. Frank became a great mentor to me as I grew into the industry. His participation in all of the bakery industry events was something that we all looked forward to seeing Frank and Proctor and Gamble. I have played golf with Frank in many locations, including Bella Vista. His integrity and hard work will be sorely missed in the industry and life in general. God Bless you Frank! Robert Doane lit a candle and writes,
I am so sorry for your loss. Frank always spoke so highly of his family, and of his wife Joan to me. Frank was such a great guy. I enjoyed his company tremendously. I met him at Bella Vista CC and we would often golf together and then enjoy lunch afterwards and talk about our round. He was the type of player you wanted to play with and always wore snazzy golf attire. He came to my 90th birthday party at Bella Vista and won the prize for the best dressed golfer! I miss our days together, we shared some great times. Bob Doane, Freehold, NJ

    Karen Post writes,
From my very early days, I remember Frank as a caring uncle, always providing words of encouragement for every step forward. He and Joan and their children, returned to Syracuse, enough for us to know and maintain relationship with those “out of town” cousins. Even after his children were grown, Frank and Joan continued to participate in Krupka-Bowman re-unions, and maintained contact with my many siblings, right up to the end. He was a generous person; served well (probably better) as the Patriarch of the very large Bowman family after the passing of W. Francis. He will be missed, but kindly remembered. Condolences to all of the others who loved him. From: Karen Krupka Post (niece #1)

    Bob Failla writes,
To all of Frank's family, I want to send my condolences. Frank was my supervisor at P&G in the shortening division . I learned a great deal about sales from him. He was well liked by the people he called on. I saw that first hand. He had a great deal of influence on my career. I tried to stay in touch through the years and was sorry to hear of his passing.
