May your wonderful memories comfort you and may God's love give you peace. Thank you for remembering Frank by caring for the poorest among us. John 14:1-4 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Brother Ronald

    Bruce C. Higgins writes,
Frank was my friend and classmate the entire four years we were students in the honors class at the Jesuit high school known as Brooklyn Preparatory School in Brooklyn, NY., from September 1963 to June 1967. Frank was also my roommate in the various hotels where we stayed throughout our studies in France in the Summer of 1966, between our junior and senior years. In the Jesuit tradition then that was proud to educate Christian gentlemen, Frank always stood out as being more of a gentleman, more of a friend, more gentle without ever being soft, more tough without ever flinching in the face of life's trials, always ready to comfort friends with kind words wise beyond his years. I used to see Frank at Brooklyn Prep's annual reunion dinners, and the last time I saw him was in 2017, when our class had its 50th reunion. He looked the same, and was the same Frank I'd always known, standing tall, well dressed, and smiling, unfailingly courteous and concerned about me and our classmates, If I'd known it was the last time I'd see him, I would have told him how much his friendship had meant to me, but of course I didn't know it was our last time together. The following reunion dinner in May 2018, our mutual friend and classmate Bill Carter told me about Frank's passing, and stayed by my side awhile to comfort me. I have missed Frank the past five years, and always will. I extend my deepest condolences to his wife and family. May he rest in peace and God's loving embrace for all eternity. -- Bruce Christopher Higgins, New York, NY, November 11, 2023
