    Hedy Knoth writes,
To the Heldt family: Dottie and I have been friends for many, many years. We played bridge together, did some travel together, as widows, and before that with our husbands. Dottie was an exceptional person, kind, intelligent, brave and fun as well. She was a class act. I will miss her very much, as will all of her many friends. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
