Deborah Ann Hobbs, age 52, of Wilmington, DE , died suddenly on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her home.
Debbie was the daughter of Mark and Sara Connor , currently of Glen Mills, PA. She graduated from the A.I.DuPont High School in 1982 and the University of Delaware in 1986 receiving her B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. She continued at the University of Delaware earning her Masters in Business.
Debbie worked for DuPont as an Engineer and Program Manager. She founded the Hobbs Co. LTD, a strategic management consulting firm. She produced a video,” BabySafe”, which won a Freddie Award, the American Medical Association’s highest honor for excellence in health and medical films.
Debbie was a truly caring and giving person and her generosity was infectious. She was an avid Tennis and Paddle Ball player, and always pulled the family together to play sports, especially Volleyball. She loved animals and especially her Cavalier King Charles, Walter and Edward. She was a regular volunteered at Faithful Friends Animal Society,
In addition to her parents, Debbie is survived by her 3 sisters; Sharon Lupinski (Tom), Terri Kelly (John), and Cindy White (Terry) and her three children; her son, George Tyler Weymouth Hobbs III of Wilmington, Delaware and two daughters; Annie Connor Hobbs of St. Petersburg, FL., Sara Seabury Hobbs a recent graduate of University of Virginia, relocating to Arlington, VA., their father George Hobbs, as well as their grandmother Patty “Nene” Hobbs, many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
