Cheryl Joy Bartholomew

Cheryl Joy Bartholomew, age 73, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Cheryl was born in Landsdowne, PA., daughter of the late Aubertin Walls and Alyce Brown Walls. She attended Penncrest High School before attending the Venus Beauty School.

She worked as an electro-mechanical technician for Eaton Aerospace as well as a hairdresser and at Smalls Real Estate.

Cheryl was a member of the Eastern Star organization. She also loved the Eagles, Phillies playing bingo at St. Helena’s, making crafts and going to the beach.

Cheryl is pre-deceased by her partner of 28 years, Clifton Pinder, she is survived by her daughter Traci (Paul) Wick of Wilmington, Delaware; her sisters Gay (Ben) Nusshag and Dale (Mike) Miller of Chester County, Pennsylvania; her brother Millard (Suzanne) Walls of Media, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren Kyle (Michele) Haas, Hailee (Derrick) Wick, LeeAnna Wick; step-grandson Thomas Wick; great-grandchild Raelynn Haas; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:00 am at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike Wilmington, DE 19803. A visitation will be held prior from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
