Barbara Ann Blaser

Barbara Ann Blaser, age 77, died Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Blaser was born and raised in Cincinnati, the daughter of Herbert and Barbara Frances Raabe.   In her early years, she taught music after studying for six years at the College Conservatory of Music and graduated as a music major from Our Lady of Cincinnati College.  She was also a school teacher for seven years.  She dated her husband, Robert J. Blaser II, during their college years and they married in 1965 at All Saints Church.

After moving to Pennsylvania with her husband, they began Imaging Products Corp., which she continued to run.   As a member of St. Joseph on the Brandywine Catholic Church, she fulfilled her passion to serve God with her gift of music serving in the music ministry.

She and Robert also belonged to a bible study for over twenty years. Giving her time at the Hagley Museum and Library was also a favorite past time.

Her husband died in 2000.  She is survived by a son, Robert J. Blaser III, and a daughter, Lisa Lynn Blaser.

Our heart felt sympathies to Lisa and Bobby We met Barbara and Bob through our Bible Study group and after Bob died Barbara continued on with the study group. Her knowledge and understanding of the Bible added a great deal to our group. Barbara always had a smile and a kind word. There was no doubt that Barbara truly loved the Lord. She is with him today.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bobbie and Lisa at this time. We got to know Barbara and her family 23 years ago when we moved in next door to them on Carriage Path. We had many nice chats, visits and helped each other out during the snow storms, power outages, etc. I will truly miss Barbara and pray that she is at peace.
