Condolences

    Dennis Barnes writes,
I the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cardinal only once at Ann and Dan's wedding. He was a gracious and impressive presence. I had known about him in working for DuPont and his reputation as someone who honorably took care of business while watching out for the company and its employees best interest. Also, I knew of his many adventures with Ann, Andy, and Mrs. Cardinal in working with Ann- tennis, bridge, horses, and a very active life with an emphasis on the church and his faith. Family, friends, colleagues, employees all benefited from his caring and watching out for them. My condolences to Ann, Mrs. Cardinal and his extended family. I can only imagine how much he will be missed by all of those who's life he touched especially as a husband and father.

Ann and Rosemary, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Every time I was over at the house, your dad and I always got into a discussion about something. He was always patient with me when I would bring Andy home a little late! He will be truly missed.

I was fortunate enough to know the Cardinal family through their dental visits. Tony was such a caring father and husband. He was a very interesting and vibrant man. I was not aware that sweet Andrew also passed. I can only imagine their smiles when they were reunited in Heaven. Sending love and peace to Rosemary and her daughter.

Tony was as fine a gentleman as one could ever know. I had the pleasure of being in his company at the Bridge table. He was always kind, and very knowledgeable on many subjects besides Bridge. He was very well dressed, and very complimentary to others who also appreciated the finer pleasures in life. But, above all Tony was a devoted family man who cared deeply for his wife, Rosemary and his children, Ann and Andy. May he Rest In Peace. Mary Jo and Ernie Fidance

Tony was my first boss when I started to work for Dupont at the Experimental Station in 1968 . I was just out of college and joined a team of 10 at the Experimental Station to bring a fluoropolymer product from the bench to the market. Tony made all of us feel important to the project. He made sure that each of us had an idea incorporated into the project. I left Dupont after 11 years and never forgot Tony as a role model for being a good boss. It has served me well.
