Condolences

Terry Copeland lit a candle and writes,
I was heart broken when I learned that Holly had passed away. Only the previous month she told me she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had asked how my wife had dealt with it. We exchanged a couple notes and she said she was going to hospice. Such a horrible disease and she never really had a chance to fight. It hit me very close to home as my wife spent much of last year in chemo and then major surgery in December. I wanted Holly to have the same chance but I guess God had a different plan. I pray that my words offered her a little comfort in her last weeks.

    Caleb Stewart writes,
Dear Flaherty's I met Holly in the early 1980s when she lived at the Women's City Club. At the time she was struggling but it was great to witness her turn around as the years passed. I will miss her and her sweetness but also her mischievous sense of humor. May she rest in Peace! Caleb Belmont, MA

I lived with Holly in the late 70s in Boston and we have talked or written throughout the years since... I miss her every day. My thoughts are with her family and I pray for some sense of peace for all of us.
