Duyen Thi Pham

Duyen Thi Pham, age 89, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Duyen was born in Vietnam, the daughter of the late Thien Pham and Lac Thi Le.

She spent half of her life in Vietnam and the other half in the United States. Duyen spent her time raising her ten children. She was a devote catholic and attended mass regularly at Church of the Holy Child.

Duyen is pre-deceased by her husband, Oanh Do, she is survived six sons, Anh Do, Hung Do, Dung Do, Thanh Do, Trach Do, Giai Do; four daughters, Mylinh Do, Hanh Do, Duc Kim Do, Linh Khanh Do; and 16 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.

Funeral Services

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing beginning at 8:30 AM at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine Cemetery, Greenville, DE.

I worked with Duyen’s daughter, My Linh, for many years. I can only imagine what a devoted and capable mother Duyen must have been to raise such a special daughter. My thoughts are with My Linh and her loving family, while you mourn and celebrate Duyen.

Rip my dear bac Oanh. I will always remember how sweet and wonderful you are. You always greeted me with such warm and wonderful spirtits whenever I visit you. Even when you are not well you are never without a smile or positive words. Condolences to the Do family who are verybdear close neighbors to us since 1975.
