I am so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. I met Brian in April 2017 as I started at Ballard and he was a PM on one of my first projects. He quickly became one of my first friends at the firm as I noticed him at the Claymont train station the next morning. I appreciated our chats those many mornings - discussing our past experience at JP Morgan and his love for the Delaware beaches. I can still hear Brian's distinct laugh. Rest easy, Brian.

My condolences to everyone that has had Brian touch their lives. For me I know Brian as coach Brian taking us back to when we left Inferno and went to become Impact. Moving to when we became Puma. Brian was a large portion of me becoming a better athlete and soccer player. From practices when we partnered with the Blue Monkeys and other teams, to just having days where we ran drills to improve. Brian was always there willing to coach and develop us. His impact on all of us from Puma can be seen in how we developed as men. Thank you Brian for everything you did for us growing up including the practices, games, tournaments, etc. your loss is truly felt. To the family that is left behind, my thoughts and prayers go out to you, but know that his legacy continues to live in all of us in the individual ways he touched our hearts.

Brian will be sorely missed by the volunteers of the Delaware Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation who worked closely with him including me. Brian and I worked together to clean up trash from the Delaware beaches by conducting many group beach cleanups as well as helping stop beach pollution at the source. We achieved many successes including obtaining thousands of grant dollars to help educate the public about the dangers of cigarette butt waste and encouraging smokers to not leave their butts behind; working with partners and legislators to help ban balloon releases and Styrofoam take-out containers from restaurants; writing editorials; as well as finding the money to install an outdoor shower at Cape Henlopen for the surfers. All this plus more since joining us in 2021. I will miss his passion, ingenuity, integrity, diplomacy, and his thoughtfulness. He made us friends with all the right people. His parents and family should be proud and I thank you for letting us borrow him during his last years. He loved the Delaware surf and beaches and worked hard to help protect them.

I only got to know Brian since 2020 when he got involved with the Surfrider Foundation's Delaware Chapter. He turned that chapter around and led them to to things they had never done before. He was so passionate about this and so adept at making thigs happen. He will be sorely missed but he honestly changed this chapter forever by showing the volunteers what was possible. Ride on my friend!

I was so fortunate to get to meet Brian at Chase about twenty years ago. He was a very intelligen young man with major ambition! He was always a joy to be around and I loved his sense of humor. My boys and I are so thankful to him for his gracious gift of help at a very difficult time in our lives, We are forever grateful!
