Condolences

Joan M. Decker lit a candle and writes,
Janet, was such a dear friend since 1970. So many fond memories: staying with her on trips to Wilmington, Lou's courting her in DE and VA, celebrating their wedding, sharing beach houses with Janet, then Janet and Lou in Rehoboth, getting together for dinner with both in MD and VA, and, so much more.

    Amanda Fitzgerald writes,
I was Janet's daily money manager for 13 years. I started working for her before Lou died to help get the finances in order for Janet. Janet and I had a special bond. I always told her she was "my tied-for-first-place favorite client," and she called me mama because I was always there to take care of things and tell her what to do. I missed Janet tremendously when she moved to Delaware, but she was so happy to finally be with her friends. I was still working for her when she passed. Looking at her beautiful photo takes me right back to her apartment and the fun we had despite the nature of the work. Janet was so truly special. I lover her very much and will miss her deeply.

Cecilia Armelin lit a candle and writes,
Very sorry to learn of Janet's passing. A Christmas card was returned with a note of her being deceased. I last phoned her in August and learned she was confined to bed. She could not talk long and was not well. Good to read of the Memorial Service, and the many condolence messages. From her sister-in-law,Louie's sister, Cecilia (Bebe), living in Dublin, Ireland since 1970's. Thank you to all her friends and family. .
