Sheilah Gray

Sheilah Ann Gray, age 76, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her home in North Wilmington.

Sheilah was born in Wilmington is the daughter of the late Andrew Cebenka and Gloria (Hougentogler). She attended P.S. DuPont High School and went on to earn an associate’s degree from Goldey-Beacom College. She worked as an administrative assistant and office manager in the fields of real estate and healthcare until her retirement. Sheilah loved the beach and looked forward to vacations at Lewes Beach. She was an exceptional cook for which she will be remembered for many signature dishes and loved the crab feast hosted by her brother Michael. She will also be remembered for her sense of fashion and flair for dressing!

In additional to her parents, Sheilah is predeceased by her brothers; Andrew and Jack Cebenka. She is survived by her daughter, Holly Gray of Wilmington; sisters: Linda Allen of Wilmington, Robin Davis (Randy) of Lewes, Elizabeth Hudson of Milton, and Laurie McCann (Steve) of Wilmington; brothers: Michael Cebenka (Donna), Stephen Cebenka (Patti), Eric Cebenka, Darryl Cebenka (Denise) all of Wilmington; sister-in-law, Linda Cebenka; uncle, Harry Hougentogler of Wilmington; aunt, Jean Oltromonto (Tony); and many nieces and nephews.

Services for close friends and family will be held at Chandler Funeral on April 8th 2022 from 10-11. Burial will be private.
