Terence Arthur Dolan

It is with great sadness that the family of Terence Arthur Dolan, age 54, announces his sudden passing on January 15, 2019 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Terence was born in Danvers, Massachusetts and was a 1982 graduate of St. John’s Preparatory School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The College of the Holy Cross in Worchester, Massachusetts in 1986.

Terence was recently recognized for 25 years of service with MBNA America, now Bank of America, where he worked in the department of Support Services in Wilmington, Delaware.

Terence was the beloved son of Arthur William Dolan and Irene (Semenuk) Dolan. He is survived by his mother, brother Kevin A. Dolan and his wife Meg Hogan Dolan; his sister Tracey Dolan Griffith and her husband William C. Griffith; nieces and nephew, Elizabeth Dolan Winking, husband Kyle, and their son James; Lindsay Griffith Goeller and her husband William; Mary Kate Dolan, Moira M. Dolan, and Thomas A. Griffith. Terence will be deeply missed by his family and his friends in Support Services.

We will remember Terence for his quiet courage in the face of adversity and his lessons in patience, kindness, honesty and perseverance. Terence enjoyed history, music and a home cooked meal. His sense of humor and wit gladdened the hearts of those who had the privilege of loving him.

Memorial contributions in Terence’s honor may be sent to St. John’s Prep Scholarship Fund, 72 Spring Street, Danvers, MA.

Condolences

    Kevin Sullivan writes,
Irene and Family, My deepest condolences on the passing of "T". We went to school together at St. Mary's and then the Prep (Class of '82). I remember T. as always being the smartest person in the room at both schools! It use to drive everyone crazy! Unfortunately, I had lost touch with him after high school, but will always have the memories of a great person and friend of earlier years. I hope that you will find comfort in your memories also.
