Elsie Rebecca Gehron

Elsie R. Gehron, age 88, of West Grove, PA and formerly of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 in Newark, DE.

Elsie was born in Drumore, PA, the daughter of the late John and Helen Good Gehron. She spent most of her years growing up in Lancaster County, PA.

She worked in fan production for the Lasko Fan Co. in West Chester, PA for over 20 years, retiring in 1997. Elsie loved to go fishing and crabbing. She enjoyed working in her garden planting flowers and she loved her animals. Most of all Elsie enjoyed spending her time with her family and many friends, especially her grandchildren and her (great- and great-great-) grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Elsie is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Carl and her brothers, John N. Gehron, James Gehron, Joe Gehron and Edward Gehron. She is survived by her 5 children, David and Dan Gehron of Catawissa, PA, Sandy Gehron of Maryland, Joyce Brooks of Missouri and Linda Melrath of Nottingham, PA; her brother, Donald Gehron of Wafefield, PA; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Elsie will be private and at the convenience of the family.
