Susan D. Buscemi

Susan D. Buscemi, age 76, of Bridgeville, DE, formerly of Cambridge, MD and Baltimore, MD, passed away on March 20, 2024 at Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE.

Susan graduated from Parkville Senior High School in 1965 and earned her B.S. in Computer Science from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 1995.

She was employed by the Head Ski Company in Boulder, CO, C & P Telephone, Bell Atlantic and Verizon Communications in various locations throughout Maryland.  Susan was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Cambridge General Hospital Board and Friends of the Bridgeville Library

Susan preceded in death by her husband Louis C. Buscemi.  She is survived by sister Margaret Olgeirson of Bridgeville; nephew Jonathan Olgeirson of Fort Myers, FL; step-daughter Lisa Berlin of Baltimore; step-daughter Melissa Newton of Cambridge; grandson Andrew Newton of Cambridge; granddaughter, Emily Newton of Chambersburg, PA; granddaughters, Colleen Berlin, Allison Berlin, and Erin Berlin, all of Baltimore; and grandsons Kyle Berlin and Evan Berlin of Baltimore.
