Over the years Lisa has shared so many amazing stories about Grandma Fanny. Even though I didn’t know her, she was an inspiration to me. I think of her when I eat my bacon and chocolate. I think of her when I put on my colorful outfits. Perhaps someday when I’m a grandma my grandkids can call me Grandma Phanny. ❤️ Sending love to all the family. May we know, be and raise great women like her.

Dear Family of Fanny, I have had the privilege of getting to know Fanny over the past few years at Cokesbury Village. Fanny was amazing. Not only did she make 104 years, but her memory was sharp and she was always willing to share stories about her many travels around the world. Her eyesight wasn’t great but she continued to play Bingo and she won a lot. I remember back in 2021 when I left my position as the Activities Coordinator, Fanny tried to give me earrings. I pretended to receive them and then when she wasn’t looking I hid them back on her shelf in her apartment. She loved her family and I remember helping her connect to weekly zoom calls on her iPad, which she also enjoyed countless hours of audiobooks. Fanny was so easy going, kind, and loved by many. Fanny will definitely be missed. Cynthia

If Frances wasn’t my decades-long dear friend, I would never have known her mother. It would have been my loss. When Fan visited Frances and Dana each year here in Oregon, I told her she was my role model. Fan showed me that living and aging as amazingly as she did requires grace, determination, wit and a very active mind and body. Fan was delightfully inspiring and she is much in my thoughts. Condolences to her devoted and loving family.

Fanny was across the hall from my Mother at Cokesbury. Fanny was active and had amazing energy walking around. We were amazed to hear she was over 100.
