Alison O’Loughlin

Alison Lowers O’Loughlin, age 69, of Wilmington, Delaware, formerly of Merchantville, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her home.

Alison was born in Nyack, New York, daughter of the late Benjamin Lowers and Betty Jane Algiers Lowers. She graduated from Drexel University in 1977 with a B.S. in fashion design. She spent her career as a designer for both women’s and children’s apparel.

She was a member of the Merchantville N.J. Junior Women’s Club, the Merchantville PTA, a Girl Scout leader, and a member and trustee of the First Presbyterian Church in Merchantsville. She was an active supporter of the Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees, NJ and the Mid-Atlantic German Shepard Rescue.

Alison is survived by her husband of 44 years, Charles M. O’Loughlin, her children; Kaitlyn O’Loughlin and family of Colingswood, NJ, Evan O’Loughlin and family of Stratford, NJ, Vanora O’Loughlin and family of Fishers, IN and Gaelen O’Loughlin and family of Merchantville, NJ.
