Judith Mayo Pennebaker

Judith “Judy” Mayo Pennebaker, age 85 of Wilmington Delaware passed away on September 30, 2023.

Born in Louisville, KY on July 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Dorothy Pennebaker. Judy was raised in Cookeville, TN, graduated from the University of Kentucky and spent most of her adult life in Cleveland, OH and Wilmington, DE. Before retiring, Judy was a fashion editor and journalist.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her son, Alfred Clay Ludlum III and her sister, Martha Lee Osborne. She is survived by her granddaughters Ashley and Taylor Ludlum.

A memorial service will be held at the church her family helped found, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Cookeville, TN on Sunday December 3 at 2:00pm.
