Sydney Reader

Sydney Reader, age 70, of Newark, DE, passed away in her home on September 24, 2023.

She attended Coral Shores High School in Florida. Later in life, she received her CCMA and CAMA, along with becoming an ordained minister.

She enjoyed crafting of all sorts, most recently jewelry. She loved to read and attend yard sales and craft fairs. Most of all, she loved spending time with friends, family, her granddogs, and the light of her life, her granddaughter Isabella.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Milton Briefman, brothers, Allen and Julius (aka Happy) Briefman, sisters Barbara Billings and Louise Libonati, as well her friend and former husband Emory “Butch” Reader.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Reader, granddaughter Isabella, brothers Samuel and David Briefman, sister Maxine Raw, and many other friends and family.
