    Lucien Jacquet writes,
Sarah; I've known you (and Becca) since you were four, and Steven and his family since his teen years. I was at your wedding; Steven and Jeremy once did some work on my house. The loss, even though I am many years and many miles away from Chestertown, is palpable. This will require a bravery and a resolve that no one should have to muster, and I pray for God's grace and your extended family's support in the coming days. None of that, of course, can replace Steven, but I know that help will be plentiful, and as the pain recedes, the good memories will be a light that you can always carry.

To the entire Christophel family, Sahara & children, Kirk & Mary Ann, and all the brothers & sisters. We met Steven about 8 years ago when he, his dad and brother Jeremy did some work on our home. They are a great family and Steven was true gentleman and professional. From our various conversations I learned of his strong love for Sarah and his children as well as his desire to serve his religious faith. Our condolences to the entire family as all of us have lost a truly wonderful person.

Sarah and kids, My heart breaks for each of you as you celebrate and grieve the passing of husband and father. I cannot imagine the pain you are all feeling on this day and everyday going forward. Steve impacted my life as my youth pastor at Crossroads and will always be remembered with happiness. I remember being asked with my sister Lauren to babysit you kids when you were very little and grew to love you all through the church. I love you all and miss you. And I am praying earnestly for you all during this time and after this time. - Megan Clark (former Weaver)

    Gary and Nancy Robson writes,
Kirk and Mary Ann, Gary and I were so very sorry about Steve. He was such a good guy. I can still see him working alongside you in rebuilding our front porch all those years ago, and then sitting at our dining room table while working out the details of our new roof. He looked around and asked if we had thought about re-doing the floors (wh amused me). My response was that it was way low on the list of priorities, but I could understand his asking. A very good man gone way too soon. Please accept our sympathy and condolences. Regards, Gary and Nancy
